I'm not sure but I assume its something to do with a ban on tobacco advertising? I imagine the bar code means 'Marlboro' or 'smoke tabs' or something. First used to see such things in F1 where if I recall correctly cigarette advertising was banned first in France? So the cars used to have to run without direct mention of the brand of tobacco. I seem to remember that Jordan used to have some of the more interesting solutions when they were sponsored by Benson and Hedges. Cannot remember just what they had on the car but it was so obvious its meant Benson & Hedges!

Just remembered what they put on the car instead of Benson and Hedges, They used the same colours and fonts and replaced it with " Be on Edge "

Yup, Buzzin hornets was used quite often.
