Interesting points about the feedback thing. I was going to put my old Kawa up on Fleabay but have never sold anything on there before. SteveK suggested I sell some smaller bits to build up feedback
Free delivery anywhere in the UK!!!! What a deal!!!"I have to tell you that I'm currently out of town with some major business problems so pick up isn't an option. Sorry about that... Hope you will understand... But, you can still buy the bike... The selling price will be 1,900 pounds... For this price I will include free delivery of the bike anywhere in the UK. You will also have access to a refund policy on this transaction. However, before any delivery can be done we have to start the transaction on ebay so we can be both protected. In order to start the transaction on the eBay system I need to receive some details from you:
- your full name and address (for your invoice + delivery purposes)...
As soon as the above details will be provided I'll start the official transaction on eBay and they will notify you about this. You'll also receive important guidelines + instructions from them ( please go through them exactly ).
Will wait to hear from you. Thank you for your interest..."
The reply to my enquiry about viewing the bike is as follows:
Free delivery anywhere in the UK!!!! What a deal!!!
I assume I would then be sent a bogus Ebay or paypal invoice for me to make payment and then.....................Gone!!
My son was conned in a similar manner when he attempted to buy a mobile phone recently

I certainly did!!You reported this, yeah ?
It went for £666, the sign of the Devil! There is a payment and delivery method where you make the payment to a third party and the item is delivered to you and the seller picks up the payment from the third party. Can't remember what it's called.
