Hello i haven't posted on this forum for a while (been playing out on the monsters:D ).
I've had a S4RS for just over a year and to be honest i just could not get on with it. For me it was all top end and nothing in the middle.
I did give it a good go i covered 8000 miles on it, it was just too mad for me.
any way i brought one of these:cool:
 
It's gorgeous mate - but you bought the wrong colour!!

There a few at WDW this year, I loved them!

anyway, how does it compare to the monnie?
 
O my it's in a different league, the handling is soooo sharp and that 1100 DS engine is fantastic it really pulls well out of the bends and it's very light 177kg
with all the fluids.
 
Did you try the S2R1000 ? The aircooled 1000DS motor really suits the Monster..... I know 'cos we've got one :p
But your Bimota looks awesome.....:cool: :cool: :cool:

cheers thanks very much:) i did try the 1000Ds monster before i brought the bimota and was in pressed, i thought it had more or less the same mid-range pull as the monster S4 which personally i like:D .

...I know Bimota have their problems (business ones mainly) but they do produce very individual bikes for diserning punters. I love the Monster but the Bimota is always gonna be the rarer of the two! :)
 
Just found this...

Weight: 175Kg (street ready)
Models:
1) Strada 1098cc with more HP than a ducati 1098
2) Corsa 1200 Kit ready to race.

Arse...guess this f@nny can forget about having a shot then :o
 
I think that's probably a fairly conservative estimate, I'd guess it might be approaching kidney replacement sheckles ;)
 
F*ckin hell, I haven't seen this before (we're very out of touch up here in the Highlands) - it's fabulous. Nicer looking than the four wheeled equivalent it share's it's name with. Definately some MotoGP styling in there and I'm sorry Niall, your exhaust on your monster all of a sudden looks rather bland mate. You better get onto the manufacturer of the DB7 zort. :)
I do hope then can sell a couple of these for use, so many of these things these days will end up in a private collection and need all the rubber bits replacing after the first 20 years standing idle.
 
Nice little story for you..............

Bimota could not get the rear of the swingarm to work without fracturing, another well know Italian brand designed it for them so that they could make the bike.
