Brits get two Moto Gp wins

I complained to the BBC News team in Glasgow for not mentioning McPhee's win. I think it is the first Motorcycle GP win by a Scot since Jimmy Guthrie - and he died in 1937! It's a poor show when a national news service doesn't mention that a Brit featured on the podium in all three classes with two of them being on the top step. Who would have thought that Cal Crutchlow would be the first Premier Class winner since Barry Sheene in 1981 and it didn't rate a mention - just not good enough.

Think the last Scottish winner was Bob McIntyre, 1962?

Anyway I was there in Brno and it was brilliant, soaked through sitting in stand T5 just across from the start / finish line screaming for John in the last couple of laps.

Saw young McPhee going through security in the airport yesterday morning, he had his trophy in his hand at the security bag check :D

In MGP it initially looked like Scott Redding was going to do something brilliant, he ended up punching his bike on the paddock straight when the tyres went, so pretty frustrated.

Watching CC 35 wheelie across the line is something that will stay with me forever. Great weekend, pity Sam Lowes couldn't make it three out of three and have to mention Rory Skinner, finished 4th in the 2nd RBR race, rode well and was in third for most of the race.

Epic weekend!

Sheene's record eventually had to be broken but for me it's a pity it was Crutchlow that did it. He'll need a bigger helmet for Silverstone. Such an arsehole with his post race interviews.

You're right, BelgianGP 1962. But I think the point is still valid - amazing success by McPhee - dismal failure by BBC Scotland.
