I do give to charity - HONEST!
One thing that continually comes up, is committing to a monthly direct debit. I avoid doing that in favour of a much larger one-off payment.
As I have no income, I am reluctant to do commitment. All of my credit cards work on direct debit as I don't want to rely on my memory, and I am happy for them to take the full amount. I have no problem with that, as I've bought summit, so I have no problem in paying for it. And credit cards have an element of protection.
I was going to ask if people thought me unreasonable to not want to do direct debits to charities, but in typing this, I've answered my own question.
Feck'em! Nobody gets a direct debit!
