June's issue will be carrying a feature on the MHR (bevel not Evo) for anyone with leanings in that direction.



For Davie's benefit the MHR stands for Mike Hailwood Replica.....Mike Hailwood was some old geezer who had some success in his day in local club races. You probably won't have come across him as he wasn't good enough to feature at Knockhill.:p ;) :)

For someone that makes out he is still a youngster you seem to have a good working knowledge of TV shows dating from the early 70's!;) :D




If you had spent some more time watching Jackanory you would know what time it was when "the big hand is pointing straight up"......:D
 
June issue now out and comprehensive article on the history behind the bike etc.
Not read it in depth so can't comment on accuracy yet but nice photos with usual descriptions of how bike sounds and feels.
 
Next month's Classic Motorcycle Mechanics is doing a buying feature on the 916.

I must get me a copy of that. Amazing that bikes like the 916 are now featured in such magazines - god I feel old!!
 
Bevel goodies

November issue has a couple of pages devoted to parts and accessories for bevels.
Conti silencers, dellortos. clothing etc.
Ideal for anyone restoring a bevel (cough!) or perhaps a Xmas pressie for the love of your life.
