One of my photographer friends, Geoff Waugh, shot the Desmo Stoner Rep for TWO/Visordown, article on his blog is here all the images are here, sorry I can't grab them :(
 
This Desmo belongs to Charlie999R from the other Ducati Forum.. Was lent to the DOC (with great thanks) for the Ducati village/WSB Donnington weekend... Great to see its all looking good again..
 
That's the best paint scheme they've ever had on the race bike. Love the Italian flag and the "made in Italy" strap line. :)
 
I remember it at Donnington. I'm afraid I thought it was a 'home made' paint job. The silver stripe looked strange.
 
Personally speaking I think its a very wonderful desmo, as they all are, but spoiled with what looks like a very gash sticker job.

As for a Stoner Rep, the colour scheme is inaccurate ('Ducati' missing from the fairing and various other issues like the silver stripe and the No1 plate ?). This scheme was used once in Valencia in 2007 to the best of my knowledge ??

Sorry to be critical but in my book if something is a rep it has to be accurate. Lovely bike but not for me. :dunno:
 
Phew! I thought i was going to be the only one that thought it was a fantastic bike,spoilt by a sticker job.BUT if the only likes it,who are we to criticise?

Just to clarify matters, I wasn't referring to the paint scheme on the rep. I was referring to the original paint scheme on its Stoner counterpart. ;)
