Does the new Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally, have what it takes to topple the BMW R1250GS Adventure?

Our kid has a 2022 GSA with all the trimmings, it is a marvellous and truely capable machine. When we were away in Scotchland last week we swapped for the leg between Grantown on Spey to the famous Green Welly in Tyndrum, via Laggan Dam, Fort William, Glen Coe and the Iveraray loop, taking in some of the best biking roads in the UK. We both said each of our bikes were amazing, our kid said top end power on my DVT was addictive and lighter and more nimble. I found the GSA heavy but well balanced, once on the move the weight diminished and you could throw her about like fillet in a wet fish shop without upsetting the suspension which our kid left in dynamic mode. Was an amazing 200+ mile run, after a brew n butty at Tyndrum we were both pleased to be back on our own steeds. We are both bias, our kid is a BMW personal lease addict this is his fifth GSA, me my third Ducati and second Multistrada.
Would be good to try a V4 not had an opportunity to try, how much better could one be?
 
As long as fuel economy doesn't come into the equation... To say they like fuel would be an understatement.. My 1290cc super duke used 13 litres to west Cork Paul's v4 at 16 litres 😆

I didn't tag him in the post.. He knew it liked fuel but I think the realization that it was actually much heavier than my alcoholic KTM 😆 he looked a little shook 👀
