ok ok heres the gos straight from the jackass`s mouth......

have you ever had one of those days when you just know you shoulda stayed in bed ?

as you know it was Ducati Glasgows track night....and ive been waitin to doo a track night on the hyper for ages ....the day started out bad n just got worse :(
firstly my car decided to spit the dummy so lorna and meself set off about an hour late .....next the garage i normally use had amazingly ran oota diesel so we had to turm around and find another one....finally on the way ..lorna offered me a chunk of dairymilk...crunch ...broke a tooth clean off....we finally arrive at knockhill at 6.45...meet scott and kerrie ... sign on and get suited n booted.... i set out on track and doo about 6/7 laps ....after that i pulled into pit lane to wipe my visor and have a chat with ed and martin....i set off again..do another 2 laps and after startin the 3rd i tip into duffus a tad late then tip meself off on the outside after gettin onto the slippy stuff
no much damage considerin...has it put me off ?/?

NAH cant wait for the next one

...really sorry you came off Jamie. I (like Mike before) had a virtual front row seats view! I'm glad you and the bike aren't that badly damaged. - and I'd only been complimenting you minutes earlier on how I preferred it to the red on Scotts!

Stilll a good night was had, the track dried up very quickly but boy was there a wind howling there!
The highlight of the whole night for me was before the event; finding myself sitting between to beautiful ladies namely Kerrie one side and Claire the other. Put me clean wrong it did. Took me ages to get my head around riding around the track!!!!! :o

Hope you don't get too many aches and pains today Jamie.

I've never seen a bike scattered at Knockhill that sustained so little damage! You got off well light mate ;)

Glad to hear it hasn't put you off too, just get it fixed and get back out there.
 
was great to meet you mister and see your bike looking like a bike should - used!!

hope you are ok today and not too stiff!

nice to see everyone else as well and get lots of hugs - see you all again soon!!

And there was me thinking you were hard as nails with a tooth missing ;)

Bike came off really well considering, more mud than anything from what i saw.

Glad you are ok and have approached it with the right attitude, good on you.

Lily, you looked as gorgeous as ever both in the flesh and in the pics I saw on your strawberry - or is it rasberry? blueberry? redcurrent? .....:confused: :p

ohh bummer Jamie, and not just the off at the track ... blooming heck what a day you two had :( :(

Hope the aches and pains are not too bad today and glad to hear there's not too much damage to you the hyper :)
 
Glad your ok Jamie, hope the bike isn't too expensive to sort out. I have had a few days like that........and I think track days are out for me in the future too.

My day got off to a bad start and my planned exit at 3-45pm to get there turned sour when a problem arose that needed sorting. i eventually left last night at 7-30pm. Gutted I missed the night.

Anyway. I'm sure I was missed by most;)

I think you were blethering to Scottch and Lily at the end of the night, Scott was putting the famous "pop up tent" in the back of his motor with another box of odds and sods when i came over to say goodbye to him, think that might have been you?

Never got a chance to properly introduce myself, apologies, was heading off for a play with the guy in the C4S and getting the wee man home for his dinner.
 
Thanks everyone .....the colours are forming nicely just aswell ive got a well padded a@@e...wee bit tender today but had a great time last night ...had a couple of wee dices wich was fun ..a hyper maybe isnt the ideal thrashy trackday bike but by fek it was a laugh :D

dont think theres any pix of me sliding on ma a@@e would be interesting if there was

I was saying to Davie last night I thought things might be a bit slippy at Knockers, not good to hear I was proved right....:(

yeah was in DG today ..wee bit more than i thought but hey ho thats the price of being a Tw@t....the track was nearly all dry ..i just went in too hot and ran wide n got on the curbysh@t..oh and thinking about it now ..was probably trailing the front brake too

wellll ...... I was putting the defib back in the car. there isnt exactly much space for it and the locking arm came down on my wrist with a resounding clatter and many 4 letter words that cant be repeated on here.

Gordon, next time you get a punter that won't commit there and then to buying the car:rolleyes: get one of the other salesmen to come into the closing room and ask you for the keys. When you ask him why he wants them he says....'I have a punter who wants to buy it' to which your punter will soon make his mind up! works a treat :laugh:
