Ducati Glasgow - HUGE Well Done

Panic Alley

Last weekend I went to DG for a tyre for the Streetfighter, that went OK, but as it was being fitted I wandered around the showroom.. as you do. Well, there was this Panigale R in the window.... WHY ?? Why would such a beautiful work of art be sitting unloved in a shop window... it's outrageous !!

After a week of will I, won't I, can I, should I... I decided YESTERDAY morning to go for it, her indoors signed off on it - and it was SHOW TIME. Fully expecting it to be NEXT weekend I began the countdown.. seven sleeps to Panigale R. But anyone who knows me will know patience is a skill I just don't have :-)

So, the big red wheels were set in motion and Martin & Kerrie and their entire team got the bike PDI'd, Trackered, Venture Shielded, full race system on and READY for collection TODAY.... and three hours early too.

Having had the misfortune to see how that "Aberdeen Lot" treat customers a few weeks back, it's great to see Ducati Glasgow absolutely LIGHT YEARS ahead of the rest of them. BIG WELL DONE and THANKS :-)

I looked at 1 today, very nice but I still rub my inner thigh on the rear shock too much. Extra padding would be needed, because I'd wear the leather away.

Anyway enjoy.

There was a guy on here MAD DASH was his name. A right :jerkoff:

He would be so jealous of you owning a 1199R.

See you at knockhill next year. GREAT SET OF WHEELS.

Thanks Chiz... no idea who're talking about :D I was down your neck of the woods today. PM me with some decent roads around here - jeez I miss the West Coast Moto GP.... Loch Lomond - Military Road - Arrochar - Inverary - Green Wellie.

Tayside GP:- Dundee-Cupar Angus-Back road to Dunkeld-Sma Glen-Crief. (LUNCH) then reverse order via Aberfeldy.

Also:- Royal Deeside via GlenShee & doon the Angus coast roads.

Pict, Miles & Derek will pop into this thread with good roads.

I think I'm going to have to test ride one of these Multistrada thingys, was well impressed today with the pikes peak missile :)
