looks like I missed a good night. :( The weather held then. Would love to have seen the DESMOSI in the noise (as it were) maybe next time Scott.
Looks like Mike too the RC8 aswell - should have been banned!!! ;)

Hopefully see you all on the 30th May.

...looks like a classic case of T-bone - was that the case? I hope they were the only casualties of the evening!

Whos the guy on the yellow sport classic? is he a member of DuN?

First Night

yo guys, new to this, first ducati and all that, been following this for a while (just sold Jap bike) - where was the Fergie bloke that moans about everything... oh forgot he couldn't afford one. Saw the Desmo for the first time (Scott I Think) well done, I'm like Fergie I can't afford one - but I say I can't afford one rather than blame Ducati for not being able to supply one. Anyway, great night, being behind the Desmo was AWESOME:D

damm even more miserable that I missed the night. Bet the yellow thing didn't sound as good as my version of the 'sport classic' ;) :)

Mad dash, welcome to the DuN. Hopefully I'll see you at the next DG tracknight. I do all of them normally - lots of fun on my 'old' sh1tter!!! :p
 
I presume Scott, you trailered your Desmo16 up there?

I also see there was a Benelli Tornado there - bet that sounded nice
 
Didn't take the MV, still finding my feet on it so maybe later in the year (when the crash bungs have been fitted;) )

Scott rode up I think.... didn't see any of his motors there...

Mad Dash, get into the new members bar and introduce yourself properly, be rude not to!

You could have done it last night, we are (mostly) a sociable bunch;)
 
I'm the one on the 'yellow thing', I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing the Imola..(my PC screen saver may be your very bike :))......I think my SC may give you a run on the sound stakes though!

Fergie, everyone knows you... 400 odd posts so far, my granny talked less than you. Fergies Desmo £37,000, Fergies current Honda SS50 £5, His excuses for cancelling the Desmo PRICELESS for everything else there's mastercard... dream on you little boy !!

Weather turned out nice considering the thunder storms I drove through on the way up to Knockhill.
Unfortunately the bikes not run in yet so took my camera instead; I really must learn how to use it. Bought it 18 months ago for the arrival of my son Craig to capture all his key moments.
Enough of the excuses here’s some of my efforts the definition is not as good as I had hoped but you can judge for yourselves.

nice, what camera/lens were you using?

you can add images to the photo gallery here in the trackday section as well

I must try and gt up to one of these nights with the camera

...yes I also forgot to comment on the very good images you've put up here. I particularly like Eddie's angle-of-dangle on the 851+. :eek:
I want one of the Imola at the next one. :)

Gizmo I have a Canon EOS 30D + EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens and my twin gave me a Canon EF 75-300mm f4/5.6 USM which is the lens I used.
I usually try to use the manual mode but opted for the sport mode since I wasn’t sure how to adjust the shutter speed.
I think a lower aperture setting would have produce better photos but not sure if that would be out with the limits of the lens.
 
I can't remember where I got the image from, but I'm sure it's yours, looks identical to those in your gallery. I have to say if I could have got one just like it easily (without building it myself!), that's what I'd have...in yellow of course!

...Yes that is mine, I have a much nicer pic of that it now, that one is out of date. Anyway, I could build one of these for you, in the same spec as mine. (that's what I do)
the MCN one was yellow. Kerry got it and took it from the Isle of Man where he stayed over to NZ, where it now resides. :)
