Ducatista riding to Scotland, thoughts and ideas!

need to know?
ok,
ERS up at Knockhill racing circuit in fife,
Or Ian Murray in edinburgh makes sense for service, as already mentioned joined with DG.
in fact you could always take the other half out at the same time and go visit Ikea nearby and make a day of it (aye right)?
Although short trip to Ducati Glasgow is just as much worth it as well, same difference depending on the gamble of the M8 or the edi city bypass depending on which end of edinburgh you live at!.
M/C solo bike parking in EDI centre= pretty good considering, widely spread out and much much underused so make the most of it.
Edinburgh as a city? no need for a tour, just go out and explore yourself. TBH more tourists and students than locals, but a fantastic city that pulls people in and never lets them go.
some of the uk's best pubs and restaurants all within easy walking distance of each other.

PS dont ask about or mention the trams

Haha, well if it's just for a small checkup or service or a silly thing that I might need done, or even worse if the bike breaks down, it's a long way to get there from Edinburgh :)

On One of the best roads in Scotland ( Edinburgh Glasgow ) NOT :p

Robbie is right about Edinburgh - I've only ever been once (just recently) and just a short walk around the centre is a great experience, it's a lively old place with some fantastic architecture. I was there for a cycling weekend, combined with a friend's stag do, it was just for the evening we were in the town centre, riding was further out.
