Fancy Stand

Quite trick, doesn't look like you'd be able to change the front sprocket on the stand. and if the stand obstructs the side stand from extending the fairing would have to come off first.

Brilliant for storage tho!

Don't see why you couldn't use it on the other side of the bike. The frame lugs are the same. That would make sprocket and fairing removal a doddle.

Also don't see why it can't be adapted for the 916/99*/748 variations too. Only the hoist plate lug diameter that would need to be different I guess.

It wouldn't work on the other side because the legs would point rearwards - it probably wouldn't balance correctly then, most of the weight going forwards.

Back on thread...... I saw the same stand, but for GSXR's, down at Croft on a track day a few years ago, made in the UK. It was excellent. I will maybe get my Google mojo on later (but before 'Spooks'!) and see what I can come up with..
