Forced to Sell - Estimate?

Well...sadly it looks like I'm going to be forced to sell my baby :( This post isn't the 'For Sale' post, yet, it's just to ask you guys' opinion as to how much you think I should be asking for?

I appreciate I'll never get back the thousands upon thousands that was poured into her but I refuse to strip her back down to sell the parts individually.

While I was building her I made a little web page: http://m900.blogspot.com Hopefully it should be enough to give an idea of what she's like.

I have all the receipts for every single nut and bolt (all titanium ;)). I've attached a picture of the spreadsheet listing all the parts that were replaced, just to give you an idea of the amount of work put into her. She had her full service with Ducati Glasgow 18 months ago. She did 100 dry miles after that service and since has been living cosily inside my parents house while I was working abroad. She runs (take a look at the dyno print out on the website) and sounds like a dream. She started off as a 1996 model however, she is essentially now a new bike.

Any ideas folks?

Thanks,
Niall

Looks beautiful, hope you don't have to sell it.

I don't have any tips for selling, other than it would probably get more money from a Ducati enthusiast. So maybe post it here, Ducatisti, etc. before you resort to bike trader/eBay, etc.

you'll make the most out of it if you put it back to as near a standard bike as you can and sell the funky bits separately.
Why not ask on UKMOC to see if any connoisseurs of the marque would be interested in buying it as is.
They were asking after you only the other week y'know, as a matter of interest.

No ideas as to value? I stopped counting when it reached £11,000. I'll maybe sit down this week and total up the receipts.

Looks like I'm probably going to work in Malta until November, so it means she'll just be sitting in silence again :( She deserves to be ridden.

bike offer

parkers values it at £1285 for a good condition private sale. seeing its had a few mods i'll give ye £1350;)

You will never recoup anywhere near the money you have spent on this bike. Parkers guid is what will dictate its price and what you will get for it +/- a bit for the extras if you're luck or not. Put it back to std and sell the bits separately.
