Gerbing Heated Gloves

I am thinking of getting some of these gloves but only to use on their own, not with the other Gerbing clothing. Has anyone got any and could offer me some advice ? ie about connecting up to the bikes power supply. I have a Multi so could I connect up to the heated grip connector that is supplied with the bike ? Would I need to buy additional cabling to do this or does it come with the gloves ? I would prefer to run the cabling through the liner of my jacket up and down each arm. Any advice would be much appreciated.

you need a weatherproof connector from here http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/connectors/multiconnectors.php to connect into the multi socket, you'll need to cut off whatever the gloves come with to connect to the battery and wire the new plug on.

on my multi i wired my heated grips and gps to the socket and added a DIN socket available from http://www.nippynormans.com/products.asp?dept=341 for my heated jacket fitting it at rear of tank so cable came up to jacket without going over tank or flapping around, it was easy enough to wire to battery at that point, anywhere else would have needed tank lifting to cable tie wires out of sight.

Thanks for that Gizmo. I think I might just get myself a weatherproof kit as I have done some additions already, like cigar lighter in the fairing which comes in real handy. I even use it for my optimate.
