I have now booked tickets at Bath Theatre Royal, all the way up to December, before the pantomime shit begins, so that's done for the year. I won't look at this until September, probably to see what there is next year.

So now it is on to Ducatis! Most of the current range, I don't really like apart from the Streetfighter V2. I would keep my KTM that has all the touring shit, as this would be as is, just a toy. And then I look at the price! £17k odd but I know that quality costs and Ducati don't use shit!

I did have a question when I started wring this garbage, but now I cannot remember it! Maybe it is, "Is it worth it?"

I think that I need to wander to Riders to have a looksee.

As an everyday machine, they rate it better then the V4SF, 95% of the performance for 50% of the price.
Ya pays ya money ya takes yer choice.
Perry, having stood alongside a 390 Duke when mine was sat next to it after being serviced the 390 was tiny by comparison, like a pit bike.
If you do like your KTM keep it, ride it regularly, when ready upgrade to a 790, they get huge ratings.

Now, a wise man would see that but Perry, you think you have the same amount of space in your garage as there is between your ears :D

I am not doing fine details today, so where I would store it is not a consideration! I reckon it could be fitted in, though.

It could be my accident reward bike!

I still fink that I'll have a look. And as I am buying cash with no part-exchange, I can have a look at the classifieds and places like here.

I am not thinking of getting rid of my 390 Duke, but size and weight is a consideration. That's why I will have a looksee first.
 
Okay, I'll throw a bone. A no part exchange, no finance deal and only cash is not the buyer discount maker it used to be at a dealership.

When the V2 pani came out the two most often opinions offered were " a far better everyday bike than the full on bigger pani's and, fuck it gets hot, okay in the winter but hot days be aware.

By making it a Streetfighter It might have helped with the cooling issues.

Don’t spend all that money till you get a decent test ride on one.
Get a SFV4 SP2, you know it makes sense…

Do you not struggle getting on and off the ktm? Or even with which leg to put down when ya come to a stop?
How the fuck are ya gunna get on with something twice the size?

I struggled with the rc390 and so swapped it for the Duke as that is easy and it is quite light,

The Duke 790 is a consideration though. I sat on one in Fowlers and was going to buy it, but the 390 Duke was stood next to it and as it was so much lighter, I bought that. I think that I did test ride one first, just to double-check I was OK on it.

BUT, BUT, BUT the sensible option is to do nothing and just concentrate on doing miles on my Duke. I know it. I like it. And I've not even done a thousand miles on it! I still have the KTM navigation to play with.

I think that I need to just concentrate on that and now my right leg is better, just concentrate on technique where I put down my right foot when I stop and not my left leg, as I've always done. Years and years ago, I took -and passed - the IAM Motorbike test as that was a promise to my Mother with me buying (with my parent's help) bigger and bigger bikes.

Time to forget all that IAM shit!

So I have wasted everyone's time, but that is what I do! I am not going to buy anything this year. Maybe either a 790 Duke or a Streetfighter V2 next year. The KTM is miles cheaper than the Ducati and KTM quality of components is not far off Ducati!

Forget the money aspect Perry the streetfighter V2 is a stunning bike which will make you smile every mile you do, not many bikes out there who will do that, it is more expensive then the KTM for a reason, book a test ride and experience it your self🤷🏻‍♂️😎

The Streetfighter V2 maybe better than the KTM, but over twice as good (as reflected in he price). I might well ask for a test ride, but only to confirm that it is not over twice as good!

Good as in the experience , you really need to be riding them back to back, my previous bike was a new Honda Africa Twin , very good bike but quickly boring as hell, my Ducati has never bored me for a second, if my wife would allow me I would hang it in the wall, it’s pure art 🤷🏻‍♂️😎

Forget that shit me aul flower.... What do you want what do you dream of??? Sometimes financial sense isn't what makes sense... You only get the one bite at the cherry make it worth it 👌👌

But, but, but I could try "Third time lucky!" and looking again (you can tell that I have an empty life!) the standard Monster seems light enough for me and the looks are not that bad. I must try to avoid the "old man syndrome" where everything was better in my day! The looks could grow on me! I've got thing going on this week, but I'll try to get down to Riders sometime. It is always fun if I drag my mate there, as he hates Ducatis! And we both hate Harleys! Could always make a day of it and go to the Bridgewater branch:love:
