Hi from Kent. Just joined up to this forum but been about the Ducati scene for a long time.
Many years ago I was the Surrey regional rep for the dsc prior to moving to Germany. Well I’m back in the uk for the past 3 years and still have my Ducati’s.
My main bike is my 996/1098 hybrid. Bought new in 98 by me the motor lunched itself at Spa Francorchamps so then I put in a 2098 streetfighter motor courtesy of Chizel some 9 years ago maybe, is he still about??
Anyway the bike since has been a great toy that still makes me grin when I crack it open.
Also have a monster 900 that is more of a workhorse that has been part of my life since new as it was originally my wife’s bike, but as she can’t ride now it’s mine.

I remember you from the old DSC days. You used to kidnap folks from Great Britain and forced them to ride motorbikes around Europe, if I recall correctly.

Fucken good to hear you are alive and well and that the 1098 is still a runner, i still miss looking at it sitting on the dresser in my bedroom...
So ya not in Germany no more? Dam i loved that lil place you had there!!!!
 
Twas only a few days ago i was reminiscing about my epic euro tour on the lil scrambler .
Trying to find your place in Germany as night was closing in and it was pissing with rain. Id punched your address in the sat nav but put the wrong town in so was a few hours out! Arrived just on dark , your amazing wife greated me with dry clothes, a bottle of red and had a spag bol on the go.
We chatted shit while waiting for you to get home from work. One of the highlights of my trip was catching up and checking out your stomping ground.
Do you also still have the Triton?

Great to hear from you, as thought you’d gone to the other side of the world to live a beautiful life un-bothered by modernity…. Or are you still Greenford way?
The bikes still going well, too hot at the moment for me so she’s tucked away till a cooler day.
Sold up the German life as I missed English sausages! So now sort of retired early and just kicking about!
