Hillclimb on a Multi ???

Could be a giggle, I have Barbon hillclimb on my doorstep and could be a giggle, its the taking part that matters eh !

Anyone ever done a tarmac hillclimb on a Multi / Ducati - any nice dealers out there want to lend me a HyperMotard for the Craic / Publicity ?

Not investigated what class it would go in, I imagine I would be up against some evil Supermotards though !

Ian, Great idea Did it years ago on a post vintage 350 single, also on a norton Rotary which was somewhat quicker but scarier(no engine braking!)

Biggest probelm you'll have is keeping't front wheel down

I did a sort of Hillclimb on my F1 Santamonica back in '97 down at an Italian weekend at Brooklands. Twas up their old 'torque tester' hill which is basically straight up very steeply for about 200yards and timed. They used to test the torque of the blower Bentleys and the like back in the '20s and '30s.

Entertaining tonight but am going to check the classes later - it will be a hoot, anyone got a PW set of wets 120 F and 180 R to donate to the cause ?
