In computer Numpty terms tell me.......

Just come accross a couple of things that ask I I want to do an RSS feed, can't really suss out what it is ???

RSS = Really Simple Syndication.

RSS is a web content syndication format and is a dialect of XML.

I think it's an offline audio content player that updates whenever it's connected to the internet, depending on what content you've subscribed to.

Feel free to correct me!

its used to provide short snippets of news items for example I could enable it here and it would , say , the headlines of the last 10 posts in a bowser window. can also be used in webbrowser bookmarks like safari Ian, if you've got Apple news or BBC news in your bookmark bar and RSS on it can show recent items as dropdown list.
