Insurance for my Monster 1100evo

Not got it yet ! Will probably buy a new one !

I'm currently insured by Falcon with my CanAm Renegade 800Xxc and have 5 or 6 years NCB.
Falcon are the insurance company linked with the quad forum I am / WAS a member of.

My quad is worth about £8500 and insurance was £189 Fooly Comp.

Insurance quote was £443 for the new Ducati WTF ? For about 30seconds I said "oh well am not buying a Ducati then".

Comparethemarket.com cheapest was £154 ! HAPPY DAZE !
Now will someone please hurry up and buy my quad so I can get back to what I love !

Some of the posters here are familiar with the insurance industry and this kind of thing (one company quoting inexplicably high and another low) seems to happen because many companies have their own specialities, so Falcon might feel comfortable assessing the risk with quads, but less so with road bikes.

It always pays to shop around - doubly so with insurance.

lol, it was fun but, been there done that. Time for a Ducati, I should have bought one last year !

I just renewed my insurance on the M1100 Evo - 4 years NCB Bennetts wanted £189 to renew - MCE offered £133 including RAC, leathers and helmets etc... Great deal in my view
