As usual the renewal notice came in for my cars & as normal was SKY HIGH compared to last year.
I had gone through Admiral multi car last year & saved a packet, but this year the renewal was up to £644 for both cars.
I phoned them & they dropped it right away to £564.:)
I then went on a few sites & on Go Compare I could get both cars on seperate policies even cheeper.;)
Went back to Admiral & now have both cars on the same multicar policy for £508.08.
Can you believe that?
1/2 a hour on the net & 2 calls to Admiral & I have the same policy for £135.92 cheeper than their 1st quote .
Just shows you that they are all chancers & hope that people will just pay up.
Shop around folks. :D:D:D:D

I shop around every year, even if i think that the quote from the company i am with at the time is a good one, and the outcome of this has been that for the past 3 years both of the cars have changed insurance companies every year, but the bike is still with Swinton bike insurance (4th year with them now!) as they have manged to stay under all the other quotes that i have had every year!
They also call me a couple of weeks before it is due as well as sending out the usual letters.
The only thing with insurance though is you don't know how good the company that you are with are until you have to claim! which, until now i have never had to test, and long may that continue!!!

I've just got my car renewal through. An extra £140 per annum despite the fact that I have an extra year No-claims bonus to 9 years. Same car, etc. WTF?
