Insurance

Old thread resurrection....

ST4 insurance is due next month and I'm getting £77 fully comp as expected, however, having acquired the pansexual last year I'm now wondering if it's worth getting a multi bike policy (for 2 bikes only) I know with lots of bikes a multi bike will make sense but with 2 is it worth it?

The Pansexual (due in June) was only £138 with 0 years no claims last year so combined I'm looking at £210 (maybe less as the pansexual will have 1 years no claims?

If in future the multibike gets silly (cost wise) is changing back going to be an issue with no claims?
I have a multi bike policy with Devitt and based on my experience the premium increases when a bike is added and comes down when one is taken off so no disadvantage if you go back to 1 bike.

I had a policy once that didn’t charge for adding a bike, but those days are gone 🤷‍♂️

Cheapest multi bike policy for the 3 I mentioned above was £790.00.

I could insure the Tesi with full no claims and the other 2 separate with no no-claims for less 🤔

My YR5 350 costs about £135 a year on a classic modified policy, yet the R1 with no no-claims is only £88

It’s a jungle out there:
