i have never bothered doing this before with any bike i have owned, but within 24hrs of my first duke i have already bought a set of carbon heel plates and got a offer on a carbon heat sheild.... is it gonna get worse!!

yep,they take over your life Mate,nice bike,I was also looking at it but it just a wee bit too dear for me :mad:

it will get much worse ,look at martin, he ended up getting a whole ducati shop :cool:
 
I bought my Hypermotard a couple of years ago never bothered with any other bike i have owned .Now i have ducati suit helmet gloves and then the different bits and pieces on the internet make it more than a bike its an expensive hobby . Just like when i bought my first Sierra Cosworth :flash:

Erm, yes and no.
kinda like tattoos for some people, get one you want more...

I had my 749 for 2 years as standard with no mods, then got offered a black screen. Within 1 week of that I had addedd a carbon exhaust heat sheild and carbon exhaust can cover........

yeh would agree with Scott, - put it this way - you need to get to grips with buyers remorse just now... no point in beaten yourself up about all the carbon bits that you buy. just get on with it and "ENJOY" LOL :D

footpegs already on, heatsheild should be delivered tuesday or wednesday!! lovin the bike, very different to my r1, she has got the normal 749/999 thing of stalling at traffic lights so have looked like a complete @@@@ a few times so far, will ask DG to have a look at it, heard it could be the tps needs something done to it, thank god they have great breaks i have been looking at myself in shop windows on the way past and bloody cars go and stop!!!

but don't look in the big windows when you are riding the street,
you never know what will step out in front of you !
i know we've all done it, but get somone to photograph you, its safer

thought the stalling thing was sorted after 2003 bikes :dunno:
