Well,

Ive been "fettling" away in the garage and swapped the sidestand to the other side. I think it looks a lot better on the right side......and the bike handles a bit better too.

Yep.....makes it easier to overtake now

dont make the common mistake of swapping the mirrors round tho, otherwise objects may appear to be further away than than they really are

Davie, you're going to find that when you try to change down a gear, the back wheel locks up. It'll take time to get use to the new configuration.

Which reminds me of a little story. When my son Daniel was three years old, we were sat watching TV, as you do. He was always good at languages (to this day he does fantastic accents and impressions) and suddenly he said "Yargnits!" "Yargnits?", I asked "Yargnits" he replied. "Yargnits?" That's "Stingray" backwards he proudly announced. Amazed, or what. A bit of pressing and he came up with a whole host of other words - noisivelet, oidar, negawsklov (we had a Golf at the time), elbat, afos, wodniw and so on. For years after he and I would speak, as far as were able, it's damned hard, sentences to each other backwards. Try it yourself, it's a bit of fun.
