Jimmy Ross had a mini stroke yesterday morning and has limited movement on his right side.He is in Crosshouse hospital ward 4d.I was in this afternoon and he was looking ok and in good spirits.Getting tests to find out the problems.All the best Jimmy and wish you a speedy recovery.

Wow, am a bit shocked to hear this but really, really relieved to hear Jimmy is now OK and recovering.
'In good spirits' ...does that mean more, less or the same grumpy as normal?

Hi All,

Thank you for your posts, Turns out it was not a mini stroke it was a stroke but a small one and i am now at home as an outpatient and recovering well and on meds to remove
the blood clot in my brain.
Trying to work the keyboard has been a pain as my right hand would not work properly
but managing to type as of today. Bikes are parked up for now and i think it will be
around 2 months before i can get back out on them but i hope the docs says me fit to
drive after 30 day ban so i can at least get about in car.
