Kawasaki KR1000 Endurance Replica

I didn’t say it was a waste of time, I’ve quite enjoyed it, it’s made me want a new project that I‘m into, I’m just not quite sure what I want to build. I do know that it’ll have to be comfortable and have an electric start.
We do like a build thread 🤔 and you’ll easily finish it before @CAT3 finishes his even with his 15 year head start 👀

You're shit at counting time, when you said your mate took the piss out of your first build for taking over 10 years, what you really meant was 40 years obviously - now get your finger out 🤷‍♂️
Clearly you are shitter at counting time ! ;)
I would draw your attention to the picture below, date stamped 15MAY2013. Giving you the benefit of doubt, that part could have been produced months, even years prior, we really just cannot be sure how long you've been building your bike, other than it's at least just short of ELEVEN YEARS !! :ROFLMAO:
While on the other hand I'm only at five, just starting my 6th year !

Nutter 🤪 that's a bit of polystyrene foam in preparation for thinking about manufacturing a part - nothing to do with the build - granted the photo showing the bent frame tubes was taken 9 years ago, but I then started a business and did nothing for 5 years, then manufactured more parts and finally built it in 19 months - whereas your first bike took 11 years and you decided to start again which means your now in your 17th year.

Now calm down and don't get so over excitable :)

I've heard it all now, the Exi "Book of Excuses" !! :ROFLMAO:

If Everclear were still on here he'd give you what for !! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yeh deffo, just deciding when to book it in for an mot then trying to get insurance at a reasonable price which will be an interesting conversation 🙂👍
It looks like an original bike ....but has been resto modded for the road ... They'd have fitted that front end back then if they had the gift of time travel ....🤔

There will be a few double takes I'll bet ....wonderful vehicle ...

Side stand was based on an American Jack for a single sided rear Ducati wheel for jacking the rear for chain lubing - guess they don’t have paddock stands over there 🤷‍♂️

My mate machined the foot peg sleeve while I chopped the rest of it about so it now folds in on itself for easy carrying.

The Velcro strap locks the front brake…
