Few folk in the UK will do one-off tanks etc.

I used The Tank Shop for my bike.
From the website looks as if John is thinking of retiring.
Guy in Inverness did my one-off exhausts and fabrication work so these people are there. It is funny how as you start getting into a one off build you start to unearth them.
On a boy's trip yesterday we were just discussing how we liked motorcycles which had just enough to make them work and nothing more and it seems the cafe racer look is making a big comeback again.
I know this has been posted more than once before but I make no apologies for using any excuse to give it more publicity.
 
Definitely seems to be a bit of a movement to customise old Jap twins.
Lots of old Honda CBs & similarly desperately unfashionable things getting transformed.
I like the Bike EXIF site & there's an Italian website called Cafe Culture or somesuch with intriguing things on it. Best avoid the latter if you're offended by the tattooed naked ladies who pop up here & there.
Shows that there's life beyond the Carbon/Termi/Akrapovic prevailing orthodoxy.
