Low Fuel Warning Light

I went a run on the Monster last night (Mrs. M 998 was on her ST4) up through Fife, it's the first decent run it's had since the 998 went back on the road earlier this year.

About half a mile before getting back home I discovered that my Low Fuel Warning Light isn't working

Fortunately, I was at the top of the hill and was able to free-wheel almost all the way home - Mrs grabbed me by the jacket and pulled me about 100 yds to our street otherwise I have had to push it :lol2:. Why don't they make fuel lights come on briefly with the ignition like ABS lights and such. I guess it could have been a lot worse.

My fuel warning light does come on briefly when I turn on initially. Monster S2R.

If it's as accurate ( I use the word loosely ) as the Multi gauge and light it's not much use in any case, just a vague kind of indication. The trip odometer is much more reliable.

All the lights come on briefly with the ignition on the Multi too?
