Assuming it's not going to be snowing, I doubt the forcast for t-shirts and shorts especially given it's 0 degrees outside and @@@@ing down as we speak err type, well, as I type.

Hi Mellowman, we will be returning to Harrogate/West Yorks way after the trip to Hartside, meet us there and we'll group up for some of the way home if you wish.
Salt can fook owt up, but so long as you wash it off thoroughly upon return, let it dry off and use that wonderful stuff from Scottoiler, FS365 you should have nothing to fear. I mention that not because it is advertised on here but because I have been using it since it became available and it is great.

well, my bike is at my dad's house because i cant keep it in glasgow - dennistoun is not the place to leave a duc lying around. therefore i will have to head down there on the saturday and come back up to glasgow on the sunday morning to meet you guys - meaning about an 8 ish start to my journey which is early enough. if you think we'll have to leave earlier then ok, but i prefer the 9ish idea.

have a laugh! you obviously haven't been in my street then. how many ppl are heading from our way? lookin at that route, i'm going all over the shop before i get any further south. eith that or i'm useless at map reading.... probably quite true.... i'd normally head down the a76 for dumfries but i'd probably get lost on my own so i might just meet up with you guys anyway.

It does sound like you're going back'n'forward a bit... there's a couple o days left to get a route organised that will hopefully suit everyone. You can stick your wee bike in the garden next to mine for the night if you like.

aww... well i'll probably not have any internet access after tonigt as i do not intend to be in uni over the weekend so can i pm you my number and you can let me know of any updates. as ther are a few of us going down i will probably come up to glasgow then, saves me a lonely ride down on my own and might just take up that parking idea on the sunday if that's ok? just till i can get the bike to my dad's again on the monday.

I was hoping to be fit for the ride on Sunday after a minor op yesterday, but I'm under orders from the docs to stay off my bike.
I'm gutted, was looking forward to meeting up.
I hope you all have a good time, but please be careful out there, the roads are bad.
I will definitely be catching up with you all soon. Is anyone going to the BSB testing at Oulton park on 21st April? or the race on 1st May??

Looks like it's on then! Forecast seems almost inspiring compared to what we have had recently. Possibly a touch of rain, but maybe not. Temp of 7/8 degrees, light northerlies. No frost Saturday night. Let's roll.
