Will write a brief report tomorrow, I will tell you though that I am one very, very, very happy boy, Race 1 = 10th, race 2 = 10th C'mon, Mallory is great, really good fun.

B&P and SamieB came down also Big Twin, also came down, really good to see you all and I hope the hospitality was up to scratch, my mates Matt and Steven did a sterling job all weekend aswell. Knackered now so just gonna catch up !

Ian, well done on the postions! consistency on the positions and lap times was great, the 'thumbs up' when you passed pit wall having just taken 9th said it all, shame he pinched you to that position but hey!

thanks to Steven 'runt' for bringing the tickets and Mat for the hospitality.

I had a great day out and can thouroghly recommend it to anyone, shame i wont be able to det to Oulten Park but will be cheering you on regardless! John was it? the chap with the tips seem to have some good knowledge and advice for you, now the bikes sorted (or at least you know you need some coil packs) how about a podium finish? not unreasonable i think :)

Again I 2nd Steve's comments here, I went also for some morale support. Thanks again to Martin for the ticket too, it was a good fun day out and a chance to run in the 1098s Tricolore. What an interesting day everybody is very friendly and mucks into help out others in a way that I hadn't noticed before.

Well we can't forget Ian (Dseered) can we, in only his 2nd round he scored a pair of very good places. Some great riding there mate and thanks for watering and feeding us too. Well not to steal his thunder as he's probably just got home or is near there. Watchout for his thread.......

Catch you all later, I too need the aftersun......

P.S. Thanks also to Matt & Steve, Ian's helpers for the weekend......

....

Congratulations Ian. No doubt everyone enjoyed themselves particularly with the dry weather.

Should a separate forum be set up for say Race commentaries or some of the longer "story" threads?

Well we have Jon and Martin aswell, not sure of their positions, they were racing in Class A which is the 620 variant - I am buzzing, really, really buzzing !

A little birdy has also texted and yet again has brought home some great results from Pembrey !

'twas funny / brilliant watching Martin sat upright on the Multi passing racers riding prone. It really is a shame there isn't more 'up north' venus as it is great to watch and get involved with no matter how small a part you play.

It was a bit of a wierd day as well with very few races due to the endurance race. A normal race day is much more exciting and the paddock is normally much busier :)

But, the boys did good, it stayed dry, but there were loads of incidents, particularly in Class B where they had 2 restarts in each race

Great results for our lads with Ian getting 2 x 10th place in the Class B race, Jon getting an 11th and 21st and Martin getting a 16th and 23rd both in Class A and both managed to miss the multitude of bikes and riders sliding around on the tarmac in front of them in the first race!!

Strange day for me watching and being pit crew, i am totally pooped trying to feed, water, refuel and organise 3/4 riders. Was very nerve wracking watching Jon out there, but I am really proud of him and how well he did :)

As always great to see you all - it just seemed that everyone I knew was grinning, twas ace - Class B had, including the actual start 3 per race, also we do a semi race start on the warmup / out lap so my clutch has done 12 race starts today, thought I was going for a footdragger on the first one though, didn't get to see the boys playing, just saw the grins, Martin and Jon = chuckle brothers !

Glad you got back alright, we had gearbox issues on the way home to the point I only had 3rd and 4th - mended at Sandbach with zip ties

meant to get a piccy of Martins right hand foot peg and brake lever  well ground down, and they'd been raised

yeah we finally got picked up by recovery truck at about 7.30. We were last out and had to evacuate the paddock before they locked us in

but we then had schumaker in charge of the recovery vehicle so got home quicker than expected. Have just ditched the van outside and will sort it out tomorrow night as we are wasted and despertatly trying to watch teh GP :D

I am sure it will change but I have just seen the standings for class B - I am well within my target of a top 15th Championship finish, after todays reults I am now ranked 11th in the Championship :)

Congratulations mate, and to all the other racers too  It's such a great pity that we're so far away from all the action...I'd really love to come down for one of the weekends.
