I would appreciate any feedback on a decent IOS routing app (iPhone) that also allows GPX files to be downloaded and inputted from another source (PC etc).
I do have a TomTom Rider, which has been my go-to nav unit on the bike for years, especially in Europe, but having been up Scotland recently - I used my iPhone mounted on a Quadlock with Apple maps.
It works really well (on Carplay in my car too). For going A-B it is faultless. Its only drawback is it wont allow GPX route downloads or more than two place stops and I want something that does.
I am trying to avoid the Tomtom IOS app ( I REALLY hate those bastards as they stitched me up twice). Another niggle is that the TT App version needs multiple map downloads, rather just adding say western europe in one hit (as I have on my Rider) I have to add bits of any country I might encounter.
What is good, what isn't? ( I would like voice guidance too as I try not to look at the screen too much when on the bike)
Is Sygic any good?
Anything else ?
