Motorcycle unloading ramp

[Davecatee]

Hey folks, Im hoping that I get home from work in time for the Ducati glasgow trackday on the 31st. Im planning on taking the 748 down in a van this time (The 5 hour round trip to knockhill from aberdeen plus the tracktime was a killer riding the bike) so was wondering if anyone knows where i can rent or even borrow a ramp for the day to get the bike out of the van.

I would buy one but i live in a flat so i have no room for one.

Could you get hold of a scaffold board? If not, and if you can get the bike loaded at your end and don't mind coming the coast road then I can lend you one. (A lot of 'ifs' there..)

There will be plenty of folk that will lend you one to get the bike out of the van.
Just turn up & it will get sorted out.

Loadsa people use ramps mate, you'll be able to get one from someone. I've a few mates who'll be there including myself so we'll get sorted. If not clear a space 1st gear and lean back!!

Cheers guys, yeah just didn't want to seem rude and expect to borrow a ramp when i get there, but all thoughts are taken onboard

Gspot's got the best idea so far though, reckon i could pull of an impressive dismount no problem

ill be there with a ramp if required

How are you going to get it in the van in Aberdeen ?
