[MTS1200] Lack of power, stalling

I’m very well thanks Frank, but very busy, mostly Ducati but I get a few other things too - no one around you see.

I received an old Moto-Morini 350 for recommission recently, hasn’t run in 5 years apparently (so let’s call that 10 years then really).

and at the other end of the Spectrum a 2024 Multi V4S PP for its first annual inspection & oil service and more carbon fibre bits added to it.

Which reminds me, I must lodge the service docs with Ducati to keep his service record up to date.
Great little project the Morini, that will test your legendary patience lol, any travel plans in 2025?

What do you need to be registered kosher with ducati, in the case of tin tops you have to be vat registered garage business?
Vehicle Overhaul Regulation 2019/621. It’s EU wide. Yes, you have to be a registered business and VAT registered.
I guess it came in post the Brexit vote but pre Brexit finalisation so never got implemented in the UK.
As long as I use Ducati OEM, or Ducati recommended, parts & fluids, complete a service request form, pay them €9.50 to process it, send them the work sheets and evidence of service, they accept it and update the service records for the bike, which for models since 2021 are all held centrally on their server now.

I also get access to all the latest workshop manuals - for another €9.50/hour.

NB, I believe, from reading the detailed blurb within the site, even franchised dealers have to pay the €9.50 to register a service.

Stupid brexit 🤣

Hi guys,
I had a few issues, but they're now resolved:

Replaced the battery with a new Yuasa (the old one had low voltage)

Replaced the spark plugs (the old ones had a 1.2mm gap vs 0.8mm on the new ones)

Replaced the vertical MAP sensor (had to use the exact same model—other similar ones caused problems with starting and RPMs)

Thanks to all of that, my bike is up and running again with no errors! Finally.
