Can any new multistrada owners help.just spent 3 hours online and on phone to try and get an insurance quote for my multi that i pick up from D Glasgow next week.Bennets ..no quote..online..no quote..various others...no quote ..Carole nash gave me a quote, that they made up (honestly) ,£580.Told them my 1098 was only 350 with 2 other bikes on policy. So still looking...anyone point me to a broker that knows what a bike is ??? Thanks Wal

Try Ducati Insurance, they have been the lowest for me since I started riding Ducati's...nonone else seem to be able to compete! I've got 3 bikes, 2 Ducs and a honda on mine and its only around £400FC

Try Footman James. Link here
They can do all 3 bikes on the one policy. Much better than some others you will come across including one you have named!
They tend to give discounts for club members as well.
Some Insurers have not updated their records and haven't a group rating for the new Multistrudel which may be why you are getting wild quotes.
They tend to assume the worst if they don't know.

Yeah got the impression none of the underwriters were too quick updating their lists. Thanks will try your suggestion !

Try swinton bikes, been with them since i bought my 999s brand new 3 and a half years ago and they have been the cheapest every year at renewal time (i always phone about) and unfortunately i came off it at the start of may and had to claim and it honestly could not have been any smother a process to go through! also got my new bike with them as the insurance does not run out till October and the off did not affect it!
Also been told i have only lost two years no claims and that was with the bike been written off too!!
