So, I posted a few hours ago about my new bike purchase. 
Basically I saw this 748S on eBay on Saturday and slept on it until Sunday morning as I had, had a drink.
I call the guy up on Sunday morning and arrange to see it on Monday ( he took 2 calls from people wanting to buy it as I was standing viewing it 
). Deposit left and back up to Scotland to collect today.
Although it's 20 years old and showing signs of age, it was remarkably original, with its rear pegs and original clutch cover still fitted. I think the cut rear mudguard to accomodate a small plate and aftermarket indicators are the only things messed about with. The present owner removed the Termignoni decals from the exhausts as he 'Didn't like them' He'd also recently had the belts and valves done.
I've always like these in the 'Senna' livery, although not officially classed as a Senna, the colour scheme is the same as the 916 Senna, hence why they are sometimes called so. They also don't carry the £20k+ price tag of that bike either.
So tonight, she sits in the garage alongside her bigger sister.
I saw a picture and video of one a while back, and my intention is to make this the same.

- Ohlins rear shock
- Ohlins steering damper
- Carbon fromt mud guard
- Carbon airbox
- Hugger
- Single rear seat
- Rear sets
- Slipper clutch and open cover
- Remove the rear footpegs
- Replace all the fasteners and clean the thing to within an inch.....
