Just visiting
I finally got out on my new toy this morning and this afternoon! It was sublime. I had to start from scratch setting up the suspension, but done that it was brilliant. I only did 38 miles as there is salt on the roads and the images are pre- complete clean down after the ride, but I loved every minute and I'd forgotten just how the 748SPS motor thrives on revs. I'm in love (again) and didn't think I'd be back out on a bike this year.
I'm grinning from ear to ear!!! :D :D

Bike looks the dogs b@ll@ck's. Were those picture's taken today? and if so did you "airbrush" the blue sky, or was it really that dry???

looks stunning Ed:cool:
I was out for a wee bit today too and got sun, blue sky, rain and grey skies all in about an hour:rolleyes:

Has it been involved in an accident????

Maybe it's my eyesight but I'd swear the front wheel don't match the back.

Still love it though.:) ;)

Pre-accident photo for you Ranald!:)

Was a bit grubby here but it did get a quick wipe clean before it was sold!

It really does look so much cleaner in your pictures Stewart.

I know Ed said his pictures are pre-clean, but the difference is startling!

Thanks guys, you really know how to make a man's day!!!! ;)

Well my pics were taken after I'd thrashed it up and down the straight while Mark photographed it. I rode it this afternoon and it got much dirtier. Now very clean again.
Note how the back sits up in it's correct 'arse in the air' stance again, the excentric chain adjuster was 180 degrees out with the wheel axle at 12 o'clock instead of the correct 6 o'clock position, resulting in the back end sitting so squat, it hardly stood on on it's side stand without falling over to the right!! Did you not think how upright it stood Stewart? :)

You might also notice, I've stuck the Imola rubber on it for now. :)

And yes BigK the weather was that dry today up in the Black Isle. :)

Eddie you should know by now that posting pictures of bikes on here that are not clean and telling everyone it is not clean is going to give you a hard time! :lol2:

Especially with your reputation with going to extremes to protect your babies. :D

:o , true, I should know better shouldn't I!!! :D

For once you have my sympathy Ed. I like to keep my white wheels very clean and get slagged evry time I'm out if they are not immaculate.:D

Obviously you and I have very high standards of cleanliness.:D ;)

I've commented on how nice it looks before, credit to it's previous owner;)

Getting a sat-nav fitted as the first optional extra?????:)

well done Ed... looks good chap... noticed there wasn't a pool of p1ss on the backwheel... is it just D16RR's that Merlin doesn't like.

You should re-name your dog - GIXXER :D :D :D

Merlin is trained to pish on the bike tyres of other people's bikes. I give him a secret signal and off he goes!!! :D

...it was filthy when I got it from it's previous owner!!! :p
Sat nav - nah, found that ice-cream parlour ages ago. Besides, I never ride alone anymore and never ride out front!!! :D
