I was back down your way again today. Did a similar route only the other way round. Weather was great and no wind. Will stop in next time I'm in the area.:thumbs:

Good to hear about Davy, must visit him too.:D
 
Looking excellent Mrs G :) I think it looks better with the white front mudguard and mirrors, and is that a white side stand as well?

Thanks Steve. Standard side stand. Have a few more bits and pieces to add over the winter but just wanted it on the road. Have managed 520 miles since Saturday so only another 100 and then it goes in for its first service on Thursday.:D

I'm delighted with it, but it is not the easiest colour to keep clean.:eek:

It was a retirement present from me to me. A reward for 37 years of educational/psychological slog. Better than a gold star!

Lots of extra bits on and more to come over the winter.;):D

Remember to trawl the net for products from the states.
Still mega cheap even after paying import duty.

Just got a set of Aluminium kickplates for the car from Nissan USA.
The price was £247 in the UK.
Got them for £87 + 24 Delivery & 20 import duty.
MEGA SAVING.
As you know Mary most of the 848 carbon kit came from e-bay & from Ducati Dealers in the states.

I Like the "from me to me" bit mary, that sounds the way to go, I'm away to think up what I want to give me for ma birthday, great idea.
 
Looks very nice Mary, the white really suits the 848/1098/1198 shape and only helps to make a good looking bike better!

I'm sure you'll enjoy it! :cheers:

good to see you got it the same colour as most domestic goods, take it thats so you feel at home on it when walter allows you out the kitchen??????

gave a gift from me to me earlier in the week, a greggs chocolate eclair. not quite in the same league as mary's im the first to admit, but seeing as im being really good with this diet thing, it was easily just as much enjoyed :D:D:D

:lol2:a bit like the gift I gave myself of lots of whisky last night - I have got a bit of a cold though so it was medicinal..............:drunk:
