Luca Marini is set to join Avintia Ducati and the VR46 Moto3 Team will close in 2021.

Raul Romero (the owner of Avintia) said he doesn't want his MotoGP bikes in two different colours. He emphasises that the VR46 brand will not appear on the bikes but only on the leathers much like his other rider's currently do.
This also means that Tito Rabat will leave MotoGP.
So just to be clear. Rossi will not be paying full-price for Luca to join Avintia. Rossi is giving Avintia his Moto3 team to cover a chunk of the cost.
