Nice special

Nice bike.....just the sort of special I would fancy....but in Ducati red with white stripe and white frame..:D

Being in the middle of my own project it is fascinating seeing what other folk have done with their project.
Looks like an SS swingarm and possibly Sport Classic forks and calipers etc.
Using the Sport Classic wheels makes a huge saving compared to buying custom built ones and you then have the issues of the different spindle sizes as the SS uses 20mm and 17mm whereas the sport Classic wheels are 25mm.
This looks like the standard Sport Classic tyres (Pirelli Phantoms) but I didn't like the look of them for my project and went down a different route.
Funny how so many people are building specials based around the SS monoshock but looking for the "old" look.
Don't know if more folk are building specials or whether it is just getting more publicity?
