Nurburgring pic

6weeks today we're heading there!! Can't wait!!

A four day blast round the highlands and islands in two weeks time to get warmed up!

you could have cleaned it first Shaun :D

got any more piccies from the trip? i'll add them to the new gallery.

Cheers for the offer. We go every year and use Fort William as our base then make it up from there. One day is always a trip to the misty isle though!!

18 of us going this year....

Michael, i didn't take any pics with my camera for a change because the weather was so appalling on the way there and the first half of the journey back. Fortunately it stayed dry when at the Ring.

I do have a couple of other pics at the Ring.

I'm sure you'd love it on a bike Ian, sure you've got the bottle as well, the golden rule is stay on the right hand side of the track when something quick is coming, indicate right to let them know you've seen them, as overtaking is only allowed on the left.

Circuit knowledge with 100 bends in 13 miles is every thing so when a Ring specialist in a Porsche GT3 comes up fast you just stay out of the way.

...as an addendum to that, you wanna watch it if Sabina is coming up behind you in the 'Ringtaxi' (I think it's still an M5 but they may have replaced it). She is still f'in fast even in a van, remember that one folks?

Yea still an M5, and very very quick, having said that i went out in car which did 8 mins 30 seconds (same as the Ring Taxi) and it was great fun

No mate not chance, They were built out of chip paper and play dough. I'm serious they are nothing like a Ducati. I took mine to the best inter garage in the uk and spent grands trying to make it work. But it was doomed from day one. Fundermental design flaws.

All i can say is Buyer be ware !!!

+1 to that. A good friend of mine has a limited edition. Almost everytime it goes out (which is not very often ;) ) it gets taken off the road to spend yet more money on it. He is the first to admit the flaws but keeps it for the driving experience among other things (sound familiar :D )

Winning rally championships and working on the road are two different things. Rally cars are pulled apart and rebuilt all the time.
