well you need to get it sorted, Oulton books up quickly compared to most circuits, due to the limited days there.

just get it sorted, Ian is coming down so you could meet him part way and there are plenty of us down here to keep you company :D
 
how far?

Going to book oulton park for the 6th July with m/f this week,
was also thinking of heading to donington on sat 7th,
How far between the 2 tracks?
Is it a good idea to catch the 2 tracks on the 1 trip? or should i stick around for the racing at oulton on the sat?
Also what is noise limit at both tracks?

Hmmmm, couple of things leap out with this JD.... what happens if you bin it at Oulton, or have a mechanical? Then 2 trackdays on the bounce I'm usually knackered after one and need a few days in between.

I'd watch the racing Saturday and come round to ours for the after race knees up :D
 
If you are fit and keen then it's doable, but both tracks are quite demanding and tiring.

It's about an hour and 1/4 to Donington from Oulton so the drive is not a problem.

noise limit will be 105db at Oulton and probably the same at Donington, but wirth checking. I think there is a DP meet on the Sunday at Donington so likely to be some very fast boys on the track day there on the Sat

Its a 98db limit at Donington I'm afraid, A set of DB killers usually does the trick,we've already got ours.
If anyone does make the trip to Donington on the saturday come and say hello,I'll be on the yellow NC30 with blue numberboards in the novice group.
 
Can't do Oulton and Croft on the same day, never mind, the DDers will get their chance to see me off at Cadwell in August:o

Hiya Jon & Claire,

Unfortunately due to spending far to money much lately ( new multi / 2 stag do's in Ireland and a couple of trips away), I won't be able afford any of the track days but would like to come along and watch the one on July 6th and the Desmodue on the sat pending I am back from WDW!
Is the sat night do an open invitation?

Kev, add that to the remaining 46 bottles I have here I think we might just survive LOL!!!

Think Scott maybe back from WDW then and be crashing in the camper at ours also so between the 3 of us we might finish them off :D :beer:
 
should be booking it soon, got some things happening around that date so i have to just wait a week or so before i book, theres plenty spaces left but i dunno hos long that will last.

if i am coming it looks like i wont be able to stay over to watch the racing :((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( would have to head back friday night (BUGGER)

im still trying to get out of what ive had planned on saturday for a while but its not likely i will be able to.

its gonna be a busy week with BSB on sunday, knockhill TD on tuesday ( nice wee warmup for friday )

OK I'll have a look at the route over nearer the day, but it might be the long way round. I think I can piece together a decent ride though. Early mind, I'd be wanting to get there for first session, 9.30

Would have loved to stay and watch the racing and enjoy some craic :(

ill be heading down friday morning early, guys do the pits have power ? or do i need to bring a genny ?

is there anything else i should know ?

Ian, yes garages have power (it's not Knockhill you know...) :D

Just make sure you are there early, anything after 7:30 and garage space becomes an issue on most TD's
