This is a superb bit of "directional" outdoor gear, wicks water away as well as breathable and windproof - considered a year round do anything jacket / smock, light, soft to wear, very little rustling and for me cool enough on walks on sunny days (obv's not mid summer 25 degrees...) and in winter it's perfect with a base / mid layer - i have worn this in howling gales snow and rain scrambling up hills in the Highlands as well as on windy hills in warmer weather or just sitting in the pub garden after a dog walk - it's the go coat for me. I am only selling now because i have just ordered the Paramo Valez Jacket that zips up instead of the smock.
It has "two-way" side venting zips. You can unzip the side from the bottom up to pop it over your head, or unzip the sides from the top down for venting if your warm,
This version also has a removable hood with a flexi wired peak that rolls into the collar which in turn gives you a nice neck warmer,. This was discontinued on later versions likely due to cost saving and sadly the later versions have a fixed hood.
It's used and has marks but it is as fully functional now as the day it was bought and a testament to the quality of Paramo. All the zips are perfect (all YKK) and have their pull tabs intact, all fasteners perfect. It has one chest pocket, and an internal waist pocket inside the bottom of the front panel accessed by the side zips.
Ideal bit of kit if you an outdoor type, hiking, cycling / mountain biking or going to the seaside given our summer weather..... I have shown the marks here close up but in reality they are not as bad as they look in some of these close up pictures, the first two pictures - hanging up and laying flat, give you an idea of it's general condition. It's not quite as bright as the hanging up picture but brighter than the second picture... It is freshly washed and treated with Nikwax TX-Direct as per manufacturer recommendations.
Have a google of the Paramo Valez Smock" i would be surprised to find a bad word - it really is an awesome bit of kit.
Size is Medium - in terms of "jacket fit" to compare with - i fit a EU50, and the Paramo Medium is perfect for me with enough room for a fleece / mid layer in winter if needs be without feeling cramped, and it's not baggy with just a tee shirt either. It's not a slim cut but not a baggy cut... i think they call it an athletic cut. The back is cut a bit longer than the front as per the pics.
£50 - Including post UK mainland - I will happily offer a return / money back if your not happy.
