part info needed

Hello

If anybody could clear up an issue about this part, see pic.

Its not listed as a standard part on the 748r parts pdf but is on the 748rs.
I have a standard 748 with a 748r slipper clutch and STM basket and plates.

As I did not have this part, I made up a large washer and placed it behind the basket

The part listed is slightly concave, so which way round should it go,
if indeed I need to fit.???

Any advice would be great as I am now thinking of replacing the STM for ST4s basket/plates
and not sure I need to install the part in picture.

right then im going to struggel to describe this

they way i would have it is so that the inner bit of the connical washer is against the nut and the outer edge is against the other washer that goes onto the spider spring
 
ah right hold on

see what your asking now

humm i appear to be missing one of the number 10 washers now

so yeah i guess it works without (maybe that why i keep breaking the spider springs)
