Just visiting
...went for a drool over my new bike this afternoon after spending the last couple of months away. Only being back at weekends. Every weekend until now, Stewart has been busy and I've been 'tugging his coat' every weekend to come and have a look at it. (Not having it until mid Oct - long story)

...put it this way, it's gonna be a long month. It was gorgeous, spotless and upon firing it up, sounded lovely!
Mark came along with me and took a mugshot of me - probably in a state of arousal astride the thing!!! :p
Can't wait. :)

I bet you can't wait can you :)

I know I was struggling and I only had to wait one week!!

...Yes I hate it. Having seen it again now, it's even harder to wait. But it was nice to spend some time looking at it. I'd forgotten just how immaculate it is, almost up to my perfectionist standards!!! ;) :p

god it's gonna be a hard month!!!! :)

First Images....

I know it's not the best quality and I still don't have it in my garage, but this is the first image of my future new motorbike! I'm happy!

Chuffed for Ed, should be a blast

Its seems that every thread I either start or post in is doomed for ridicule. It seems I'm destined to be under that rain cloud for all time...:rain:

biscuitandpotato's post reminds me of the old joke........

Chap from oxbridge is doing his phd on the life of the remote shepherd. For a better understanding of his subject matter he has arranged a field trip to study the life of the shepherd on the Black Isle (i am trying to keep this vaguely on topic)

Anyway our man arrives at the first shepherd and gets onto the subject of how he keeps himself entertained on the long winter nights. A leading question but necessary in the name of science.

The shepherd replies "nay problem son, you just slip on the wellies, put the back legs of the sheep down the wellies to keep her in place, hold onto the back and away you gang"

Our intrepid researchers visits several more shepherds and is told of the same preference for nightly entertainment.

He eventually reaches his final croft and runs through his questions on the life of the shepherd and is being furnished with the same answers he has had elsewhere. And so gets onto the question about entertainment to which the shepherd responds.....

"Aye you stick the back legs down the wellies, put the front legs over your shoulders and away you gang"

Puzzled by this response our future doctor enquires as to why this man varies from what he believed to be the preferred method of back legs down the wellies and hold onto the back?

Our final shepherd is visibly shaken by this and aghast by such a suggestion replies......

"whit nae kissin'!"

...Right, two things:

1. That joke wasn't remotely on topic - it was about a bike that I went to see at the weekend.
