Hi All,
Was a great evening weather wise. Makes a change! Any more rain at Knockhill and I will end up growing webbed feet!!

Ian can you tell us what happened ?? or can anyone else for that matter.

Hope you didnt damage the good fairings ?
 
about 45 minutes into the evening after a red flag i went out with coldish tyres infront of mike robins & after 2 laps lost the front going into turn 1 down the dip, it was purely cold tyres, i saw the bike slide down and tumble a few times, so sorry ric but the bodywork is well and trully FUBAR.

as far as the bike goes i just need to sort out the mono subframe and get more bodywork for it.

ill post the video later.

@@@@ter , didn't even make it to the hair pin, still so long as your alreet like , dedicated track bike that looks the part now :p
 
he chucked it in too hard in my humble opinion. as he slid down the track in front of me, head at front mudguard height, i did worry whether i was going to hit him. thanks god not. having seen the bike hit the kitty litter and spin three or four times on its horizontal axis, i knew it was going to look messy. i was still thinking about it when 30 seconds later, i went into clarkes too hot and couldn't make the turn. here comes the kitty litter....... fotunately i stayed upright. just as well as it was the first night back on my 1098 after crashing the 999 at the same corner.

my sympathy ian, hope to see u up and running soon.
