Recommended Cafe North Yorks

I can recommend The Manor Cafe at Bellerby, on the A6108 North out of Leyburn, DL8 5QH for those with the luxury of sat nav!

Is that the one specially for bikers, bit like the Ace Cafe up North ? If it is, me and the wife came across it one day, unfortunately it was closed

Been past it, it looks OK but it's too close to me to bother stopping by. We've barely warmed up by then.

So today I did, jumped on the kettle at 9.30 over to Kirkby Lonsdale then Hawes up through Leyburn and around to the Manor, turned in off the road to be greeted by a big white sign "Cafe close today", so back through Grassington and home.

Am I unlucky or are there certain days when the manor is closed ? Great ride anyway, cold but dry

I stopped off there during the summer. Quite a nice little set up, although the gravel track into the cafe is a bit iffy!

I usually stop at the cafe in Masham tho.

Thats another pretty village in the Dales
