Salty roads

Anyone been out on their bike, much salt on the roads?

Up our way it's like a fine dust on the roads. Ok in the dry but wash the bike after every ride if you can.

After using the bike on both days to the show at the weekend,washed the bike on Saturday night as it was like a field and noticed the glistening on the road ,looked ok on Sunday.Looked underneath the bike today and noticed still "wet" parts on the shock and on the bake brake-definately still salt on some roads and that was just off the busy Edinburgh by-pass.
