Guys,

In previous years Scottish_Ducs have organised a get together on the Ducati stand on the first day of the show.

In keeping with this, I'm proposing that we meet at the S4RS on the Ducati stand next to the main entrance doors in the new hall at 12 midday on Saturday 11th March, we can then slink off from there for a coffee/ :beer: and a blether.

As a new Guy I will be there. I will try and be there for 12. I will not recognise anyone, so I will stand and shout....ducati up north ;) . That should get your attention. ;) ;) ;)

Are you Lads taking your Dukes or it that a silly question? I was told the parking area is far from the Show. Will the Bikes be safe?

PS. I am not the newest member so I will not have to buy the drinks.:beer: :beer: ;) ;) ;) ;)
 
Not sure about anyone else Jim.

But I will definitely not be taking my bike - instead I will have me Joolee and me sproggs!
 
I will have my wife and son with me so definitely won't be on the bike and unless the weather improves significantly I wouldn't be on it anyway. The past few years it has always been brass monkeys at the bike show weekend.
Since the missus will be with me slinking off for a coffee/drink might not be so easy. She thinks the bike show is boring, the only reason she is coming is that I insisted she needs a new helmet and where better to try them. Talking about bikes for half an hour will be even more boring to her. Women just don't understand! :scratchhead:
 
I'll try and leave the troops to man the stand and come over, but if i don't i'll be on the Moto Aventures stand (141) just near the main entrance opposite KTM (Kost Too Much)

We had talked in a previous thread about having a meet up for some food and lemonades of an evening in Edinburgh after the show. If we still want to do that we'd better have a show of hands in case we need to book somewhere eg Bar Roma ?.

I'm (obviously) working on the stand for both days and would love to see as many DuN members as possible at the show. It's always a good event and there are plenty of deals to be had around the show.;)

The girls from Ducati Insurance will also be there for any online insurance quotes.

We're all staying in Edinburgh for the night, is anyone going to be around after the show for a tipple?:beer:

There is one thing I do not do and that is drive a flamin Taxi at night or at the week end. ;) ;) ;)

New boy here. Can't make it on the Sat but going on the Sun with the sprog on the back weather permittin. Could fancy a few:beer: :beer: but with a pillion:fou: :banghead: Whens the 675 comin out Martin i need more poke.

I'll be there with the old man and a mate - shouldnae be a problem convincing them to go for a refreshment.

Apres show pint is a good idea as well - have we decided on a venue yet?

Sorry Lads change of plans for the show. It will be Sunday when I can go. Will be at the Duke stand for 12 and shout 'DUCATI UP NORTH'. and see if anybody replies.

ill be going on the sunday im handing out leaflets for the shop so ill be with a fellow ducati owner who ive bribe to come and hand out leaflets with me and my son if i can bribe him as well.Ill try and hit the ducati stand for about 12 and see if i can get some posters of martin for the wee mans bedroom obviously

just noticed what i said in that last post ....i dont actually want posters of martin i want some of ducatis from him......not that im not saying martin isnt worthy of being on a poster more just a case of i wouldnt particularly want one

the weather forecast for the weekend looks a bit iffy for the edinburgh area so anybody thinking of taking their bike to the show check before you head off
