SP/SS665(R) - Podenzana -> Parma

Bit of a strange one this, as it was discovered purely by accident onroute (sort of) to the Italian GP.

Turn off at Podenzana (recommended: go through Switzerland), then:
- drink 2 litres of water
- fit new rubber
- fit new sliders

Get to Parma, then repeat...because you'll be exhausted, your sliders down to canvas, and your tyres destroyed. You will need to physically fit to do the entire run in one day trust me - you will barely be sitting in the saddle. There are no straights longer than 300m. I'm a cyclist, and my thighs and shoulders were still quivering with fatigue at the end.

2nd/3rd/4th gears are the only gears you'll need. Sporty dukes will only need 2nd/3rd, but you will probably feel a bit stifled. A big monster or MTS are ideal.

It's slightly narrow at points, and there's a lot of tree cover, so can make line spotting tricky on a sunny day. Which is normally is. And bloody hot.

The last run into Parma is pretty straight and boring, but you'll be grateful by then.

Keep this one to yourself chaps; it's a beauty, and barely used. Lets keep it that way. :thumbs:

I mean...check this out:

Nah - back then I was on a SV1000, I have to confess, but one of the other guys was on a S4. He left us for dead, and I was bloody trying, I can tell you. Mind you, it was the one of the few road where he wasn't actually crippled by the end of the day...;)
