I'd just like to say a huge THANKS to lambrettaboy, cause he did what the forums also about. He recomended me (Eclipse motorcycles and Scooters) to one of his customers, who has subsequntly came in and placed his order for a New Vespa.
The customer, Sandy, came in told me his coalman lambrettaboy had recomended me and over a couple of visits me and Sandy did a deal.

In the present market conditions any business put my way, and i'm sure this goes for most people, is very, very welcome. So I'm here to publicly thank him for doing something that he didnt have to do and I hope if any of you have a fellow member help you out , you will do the same

Speaking of which...what's the chat with the vespa 300cc job? I *might* be moving to Switzerland and quite fancy one of these as a run around, and need something the wife can use as well. How does it handle motorways, for example?

It works really well, i was really surprised when i used it for a few days. If you wring its neck you will see 95 on the clock, but a more realistic is cruise at 75 top speed 85. Its very comfy to ride and it goes round corners better than most mid size bikes. hope this helps
